Question: How do I get my proof of education hours?

 

Answer: Simply complete the exam included with the book(s) and send it back to us. Or you can request the exam via email. Once complete return it to us and we will forward your certificate of completion stating course name and approved hours. The certificate is suitable for framing. To request your exam by email you can simply contact us by email and we will forward the exam. Certificates are also sent out by email as well as traditional mail. If you have the ability to scan your completed exam and forward it by email, that can save some time.

Question: What is a passing grade for your courses?

 

Answer: Generally speaking, the exams are designed so that we can determine that you have actually read and understand the material. We do not assign a grade, however if we feel based on your answers that you do not have a grasp of the material covered we will contact you and discuss options. You can resubmit an exam a second time at no charge. If a third submittal is required, there will be a small processing fee.

Question: How long does the course take?

 

Answer: The courses are approved for a specific number of education hours and you should be prepared to commit that much time at least to learning the material. 

Question: Are your courses available online rather than through traditional mail?

Answer: We are currently working at making the books available in a PDF format. Once they are, we will inform all those who join our mailing list. However the hardcopy books have been designed to keep as a reference on your bookshelf. They are printed in large format print and are very reader friendly. They are also printed one sided so you can make notes as you read if you want.

 

Question: Are your courses available in the United States?

Answer: Our courses are approved by the CACCF (Canadian Addiction Counselling Certification Federation) for core and continuing education hours. We have submitted our courses to the NAADAC for approval as a Continuing Education Provider. Join our mailing list and we will keep you updated. We will be contacting other governing bodies throughout North America for approval as well.
